無法減速及自動加速記實,供各位參考
該車於1995年出廠,本人購於1997年7月, E36 (2D) M42 美規
第一次,無法減速,約1997.8月,開出約2公里上北市環快,速度約50mile,前車位於10m處,輕踩煞車減速,我動作是收油門,輕踩煞車,此時非但無法減速還維持一樣速度(非加速),此時重踩煞車,一樣速度(非加速),右手伸出去,準備關電門,此刻離前車約0.5m,幸好此危機解除,右手尚未關電門,總共過程1秒
下環快,自己檢查車子,油門踏板並未卡住,駕駛座下方並無任合東西,檢查油門 wire及 jet system & ABS 及相關系統並無異狀,找個空曠地方,試車並無異狀,我想這應有地方誤動作,或半壞不壞的零件.
心想由於無法於事後模擬出該狀況,找到原因,零件也無從換起,由於是貿易商車,去代理商原廠檢查會被狠狠敲一筆,於是找熟識店家檢查,電腦及機械,並無異狀
從此將腳踏板移除,上車後將鞋子丟到客座,赤腳開車,排除人為可能情況
第二次,油門自動加速,約1997.9月,開出約2公里上高速公路,速度約65mile,前車位於30m處,輕踩煞車減速,我動作是收油門,輕踩煞車,此時非但無法減速還加速,此時重踩煞車,繼續加速,右手伸出去,拉手煞車(已拉3格,全滿6格),方向盤左打,閃前車,越過前車,右手換關電門,關完電門,右手全力拉手煞車,右腳續重踩煞車,滑約4m停住,離高速公路內側護欄0.3m,總共過程3秒,將車駛離內側,停外側 ,重複檢查沒問題後,以5mile速度開回來
可以確定的是,非人為的錯誤,這是第二次了,上NHTSA 查到,

Summary:
The cruise control and throttle cables are attached to the same throttle valve actuating lever at the throttle housing. It is possible that the plastic
bushing on either cable could break due to environmental influences coupled with vibration.
If the bushing breaks, the outer cable housing can separate from the bushing. In this case,during application of the throttle pedal without cruise control being engaged, the outer tube could catch on the edge of the broken bushing.
This could cause the throttle valve to remain partially open. It his were to occur, the car might not decelerate as expected increasing the risk of a
vehicle crash. Dealers will install a spring steel clip on the outer tube of each cable in the area of the adjusting screw and plastic bushing. The clip is designed to prevent the outer tube from dislodging from the bushing.
Owner notification is expected to begin by the end of October 1997. Owners who take their
vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date
and do not receive the free remedy within a easonable time should contact BMW. Also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety

1992 : Airbag contact-ring locking tab can break without warning, eventually causing broken wiring;
airbag would then not deploy in collision, and indicator would illuminate.
1992-93 : Fuel hoses can harden and "set" over time, allowing seepage that could result in fire.
1992-95 : Malfunction or failure of cooling system component can result in significantly increased
coolant temperature and system pressure.
1992-97 : Plastic bushing for cruise-control and throttle cables could break, causing throttle valve to
remain partially open; car might not decelerate as expected.

我想是 Plastic bushing 出錯,由於我從來不用 cruise control,將引擎上的 cruise control unit 旁的modic訊號線off-line 移除,我也沒去修及換相關零件,從此無速度問題,也無發生第三次,供各位參考
註.在購車時有測試過 cruise control,但購車後從未用過,因我相信我的右腳
