On a side note, people simply do not care nor have any idea how the car has been modified. I have seen plenty have had clutch fans replaced with electric ones using signal from the air con fans, and the air con fans actually removed for fitting various of coolers.
There has been little consideration given about how much air can be blown behind the air con exhanger then huge radiator, nor there will be any protection shall the electric fan ever fail at remote area.
Keep digging you may find how much imagination and an amazing industry this place has.
BTW, while I was ordering some more Vanos repair kits for the garage friend in Nei Hu, Rajaie has shoot me that he changed the Teflon material on outer rings. The original teflon he used were tougher and may require unexpected longer break in period.
He has switched to softer material those are matching OE spec.
Now, it comes to the thoughts how people turn out repair kits over here having oring guys simply match up sizes and call it a day~
