Usually this is caused by a missing blank-plug in the firewall near the steering column entry point. This hole is covered by a plastic plug about 35-40mm in diameter. The plug just snaps in, no insulation, nothing. It will also quiet those clicking injectors you hear inside the cabin. Most use an oval plug 35x40mm part number 51.71.1.872.829 (which can';t cost $1 but is a bear to find on the film). If you have the 35mm round, it is part #51.71.1.816.805. Get up under your dash with a flashlight and poke around with your fingers behind the carpet to find the hole. Not too bad in the winter but will burn your feet in the summer. You might also find the piece dropped behind the carpet, if you feel like tearing it up to look. The fit is not very tight on the plugs. (The second time I used silicone glue!)

用手電筒及手....至地毯下摸索...以找到孔位，
這孔洞雖然冬天不錯，可溫腳。但夏天就會熱給你死。
你可能也可找到之前的塑膠塞環碎片於地毯下。
將新塑膠塞環裝上，並不會很緊
(因此我再次安裝時會用silicone(矽麗控)將其膠合。
